Unit 5 Pollution Management
The purpose of this topic is to give a broad overview of pollution and its management with reference to examples from aquatic, terrestrial and atmospheric systems.
Research task 5.3.1 :
Research the impact of a human activity which increases levels of contaminants in the natural environment, for example Fukushima, Minamata Bay, The Love Canal, or Alberta Oil Sands. Outline the impact on the natural environment and humans. State what precautions have been taken to prevent such a disaster happening again.
4 pages of A4 typed not including references (MLA referencing style). 1.5 Spacing, fully justified size 12 Times New Roman.
